How to Get HereThe easiest way to reach St Vincent or Bequia is to fly to Barbados and then catch a “hopper” flight. Virgin Airways (www.virgin-atlantic.com) and British Airways (www.britishairways.com) fly direct to Barbados from London on a daily basis. Expect to pay £350 - £950 return, depending on the season and how early you book. From the US, a number of airlines fly to Barbados, including American Airlines (www.aa.com), US Air (www.usairways.com), Air Canada (www.aircanada.com), Air Jamacia (www.airjamacia.com) and BWIA (www.bwee.com). SVG Air (www.svgair.com) operate a daily scheduled service from Barbados to Bequia and the surrounding islands, at a cost of US$150 each way, timed to coincide with the BA and Virgin international flights. Expect to stop at one or two other Grenadines islands en-route - which ones will depend on who else is on board! Alternatively, you can charter a plane from just US$725 for the whole aircraft. Alternatively from Europe you can fly to Martinique with Air France (www.airfrance.com) then charter a plane from Martinique with SVG Air. Flying Air France, you have to change in Paris, but the inconvenience is often easily compensated for by lower fares, particularly in the holiday season. If your travel plans dictate, we can collect or drop you at any of the local islands in the St Vincent and the Grenadines region. Please contact us to discuss your plans and preferences.
